About Pasarol
What is Pasarol?
Pasarol is a classifieds marketplace for Indonesia. Sellers post listings, buyers contact sellers directly - no in-app transactions, no commission fees.
Is Pasarol free?
Yes. Posting a basic listing is free. Paid plans are available for sellers who want more listing slots, photos, and featured placement.
Is Pasarol halal?
Yes. Pasarol does not process interest-based installment payments and does not accept listings involving riba, alcohol, gambling, or content that conflicts with Sharia principles.
For Buyers
How do I contact a seller?
Open the listing detail page and click "Send Message" or "WhatsApp" if available. Communication is directly between you and the seller - Pasarol does not get involved.
Can prices be negotiated?
It depends on the seller. Listings labeled "Nego" mean the price is negotiable.
What should I do if I think I've been scammed?
Don't transfer money before seeing the item in person. Consider meeting in a well-lit, public location. Pasarol's Safe Location feature lists suggested public meeting points for convenience only - Pasarol does not verify, monitor, or guarantee the safety of any location, and use of this feature is at your own risk. Report suspicious listings using the "Report" button on the listing page.
How do I report a listing?
Click the "Report" button on the listing detail page, choose a reason, and submit. Our team will review it within 24 hours.
For Sellers
How do I post a listing?
Register or sign in, click "+ Post Listing", fill out the form, and submit. Listings from new sellers are reviewed by our team before going live (usually within 24 hours); listings from verified sellers can go live immediately.
How long does my listing stay live?
It depends on your plan: Free 30 days, Starter 45 days, Pro 60 days, Business 90 days.
How do I bump my listing?
Go to your dashboard, open My Listings, then click "Promote" next to the listing you want to bump.
Why was my listing rejected?
A listing can be rejected because its content violates Pasarol policy (riba, alcohol, gambling, etc.), photos are unclear, or the description is inadequate. You'll get an email with the rejection reason and can fix it and resubmit.
How do I file a complaint (Seller Complaints)?
Go to your dashboard, open the "Complaints" tab, choose a category (Payment, Account, Listing, or Other), fill in a subject and message, then submit. We're committed to responding within 3 business days.
What happens after I submit a complaint?
Our team will reply in the same thread - you'll get an email notification. You can reply again anytime while the ticket is open. The conversation stays open until you mark it "Resolved" (satisfied with the outcome) or the team marks it resolved pending your confirmation.
Why was my complaint ticket closed automatically?
After the team replies and marks the ticket "Resolved - awaiting confirmation", you have 7 days to respond. If there's no reply within 7 days, the ticket closes automatically as "no response" - this isn't a rejection, just an administrative closure due to no follow-up. To prevent it, simply send any reply (even just a confirmation) any time before the deadline - this immediately reopens the ticket and stops the countdown. The remaining time is always shown clearly on your ticket detail page.
